Dr. Kayla Ellison
Dr. Ellison was raised in Monticello, Minnesota. Upon graduation in 2008, she attended the University of Minnesota, Morris to complete her pre-chiropractic classwork. In 2011, she was accepted to the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Kayla graduated with cum laude honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University in November 2014 with her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology. That same year, Kayla was married to her husband, Matt, who grew up in Cloquet. Dr. Ellison moved to Cloquet in August 2014 to complete her last internship at Leno Chiropractic Clinic before officially joining the practice as an associate doctor in December 2014. She purchased Leno Chiropractic Clinic in May 2019 and changed the name to Ellison Family Chiropractic.
Dr. Ellison has completed further training in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique. She is a certified medical examiner through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners to perform DOT medical examinations. Dr. Ellison is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA), and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Dr. Ellison completed the Cloquet Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program in 2016.
As residents of Cloquet, Dr. Ellison and her husband, Matt, continue to be involved in the community and enjoy making a difference in the lives of many families in the Cloquet area. Along with their two daughters, they enjoy spending time with family, going for walks/runs, hiking, fishing, and traveling.
DR. KATIE LARSON
Dr. Larson believes that the differences in people requires an individualized approach to their healing. Spending time with her grandmother growing up established a special passion for working with the geriatric community. It is her belief that growing old should not hurt. She emphasizes on a chiropractic approach that combines physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as she welcomes patients from all walks of life.
Dr. Larson grew up in Duluth and moved to Moose Lake when she was a teenager. She graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2017, and continued to work at the clinic in Red Wing, MN where she had done her final internship. In September 2018, Dr. Larson and her husband welcomed their last child into their family and settled back in Northern Minnesota.
In her free time, Dr. Larson enjoys hiking and walking the dirt roads with her family. If she is not spending time with her husband and four children, you will likely find her continuing her self-development through reading and networking with anyone she can.
ERIN ROUER, Insurance and billing specialist
Erin was born and raised in rural Indiana with her family until she moved on her own to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2012. Erin attended Northern Michigan University, in Marquette, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelors' Degree in Social Work and a minor in Human Behavioral Studies. Since then, Erin has worked in fields such as: addiction treatment and recovery, elder and estate law, healthcare, and as a service provider to the elderly.
Erin and her significant other, Zach, have recently purchased a home in Cloquet, where they plan to settle down with their tubby cat, Jazzy. Erin is a strong promoter in the sense of community and intends to jump into Cloquet feet first through volunteering, participating in local events, supporting small businesses, and exploring the natural landscapes!
Paige Kling, Chiropractic Office Assistant
Paige was born and raised in International Falls, MN. In 2019, she moved to Duluth, MN, with her partner, Jacy. Since then, Paige has worked in the healthcare/insurance industry.
In 2023, Paige and Jacy got married and bought a house in Cloquet, where they now live with their 2 cats, Captain and Fisher. In her free time, you can find Paige reading books on her Kindle, looking for agates on the beaches of Lake Superior, crocheting, or trying out new hobbies.
Paige is looking forward to putting down roots in Cloquet and helping provide great care at the clinic.
